Grateful For You: Celebrating Our Community

Celebrate 20 Years Of Song!
This cake commemorated our very first season in 2005!

Twenty years ago founding Artistic Director, Wallis Peterson, started the Girl Choir of South Florida with the belief that choral singing could make a positive difference in girls’ lives. On March 21st, 2025 we’re celebrating two decades of nurturing young voices, fostering creativity, and spreading joy through music!

For two decades, we’ve nurtured hundreds of singers, performed on renowned stages, and brought the power of music to audiences near and far. We believe music can change lives, instill confidence, and build bridges across communities.

As we mark this milestone, our commitment to providing an accessible environment for young musicians to flourish continues to grow. We invite you to help us continue our mission for the next 20 years!

Your generosity will enable us to:

Expand Access: Reach more children from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that every young voice has the opportunity to be heard.

Enhance Education: Provide quality music education and mentorship, empowering children with valuable skills and experiences.

Enrich Experience: Organize performances, workshops, and cultural exchanges, enriching the lives of our choir members and audiences alike.
