Accompanist
A native of Brazil, Carina Inoue discovered her passion in collaborating with other musicians since she began studying at Villa-Lobos Conservatory of Music. While she was doing her bachelor’s degree at UNESP, one of the best universities in the country, she joined an amateur choral ensemble conducted by one of the university’s faculty, Vitor Gabriel Araujo, where she fell in love with the choral world, and started her musical journey working and accompanying choirs. She has been playing with diverse choral ensembles since then.
After a period of intense work in Brazil accompanying instrumental, vocal studios and conducting classes, diverse chorus ensembles and working as staff pianist at music festivals, Mrs. Inoue decided to come to the United States to study about music collaboration.
Carina earned her Master’s degree and a Professional Performance Certificate in collaborative piano at Lynn University Conservatory of Music, under the guidance of Lisa Leonard. While finishing her studies at Lynn, she was accepted as a fellow at Music Academy of the West, where she met Jonathan Feldman. With the desire to continue studying collaborative piano with him, she auditioned to New England Conservatory, where she was accepted to the Graduate Diploma Program. Mrs. Inoue continued working with choirs at NEC, playing for Concert Choir and Chamber Singers directed by Jonathan Richter and Erica Washburn, as well as the choral conducting classes and private choral conducting lessons.
She also worked as staff pianist at the Preparatory division and the Continuing Education Program at New England Conservatory.
A dedicated and passionate professional, Carina has been working as staff pianist at Luzerne Music Center, Calvary Christian Academy and The Girl Choir of South Florida, as well as playing for concerts and performance assessments with diverse schools. She strives to share her love for music and inspire students, choristers and the audience through her playing.
